Introduction

I’ve always liked doodling or creating something fun when I was a kid, but I never took it very serious as my career path.

During college, I attended the department of Library and Information Science, which was the first place I meet the concepts about user experience. Those concepts are attracting to me, so I took many relevant courses, such as psychology, organizational behavior, knowledge management, information organization, etc. and even completed the Knowledge Management Program Certificate.

After graduation, I shortly worked as a marketing associate, and I always knew that was’t what I want. So after that, I started on the road of self-learning to become a designer.

Now thinking of it, that was a really scary thing to step out comfort zone. At first, I started my designer career from drawing Line stickers and designing web pages for friends. I knew much more about users within the experience in marketing, so it was a boost for me. And after that, with the enthusiasm for learning and all the experience, I successfully become a product designer.

In the past two years, I have worked as a senior product designer at Dcard Co., Ltd., Taiwan's leading social media platform, known for its Dcard app. My focus included emerging markets such as Peru, Hong Kong, Japan, and Malaysia. Before this, I designed for Cathay Financial Holdings, Anue FundInvestment, Esun Financial Holdings.

Besides work, I enjoy practicing yoga and traveling, with Japan being my favorite country.
